In August 2019, the U.S. Senate again passed a bipartisan resolution designating September as “National Workforce Development Month” to encourage investment in education and training for American workers. The resolution supports federal initiatives to address the growing skills gap and supports the promotion of federal workforce development initiatives. TFP is an active participant in the development and implementation of both federal and state apprenticeship/pre-apprenticeship and other funding programs, including having recently been an important member of the team that was successfully awarded the nation’s first U.S. DOL-approved Advanced Manufacturing/Aerospace Apprenticeship award.
TFP supports clients of all sizes in accessing and managing funding for employers to help them offset the cost of employee training, and consults on various workforce development and grant matters.
